This is us, Rich and Adele, in our studio at Whangaparoa,north of Auckland, Aotearoa

Borrowed Earth started back in the 90s. Adele was between jobs when Mum taught her how to pot. Eventually Dad gave in and his garage became her studio. Then Richie came along. Back then he was a telecommunication technician and Adele was selling work at local markets. Who knew he would become the other half of Borrowed Earth!

Now well established with a range of designs, we take pride in creating new ways to share our unique view of the world, honouring our Maori, Pacific and English heritage.
